How Our Journey Began
For the face of SE QLD Hypnotherapy & Karunamay Healing, Jenine Ingram, helping people is a part of who she is. She believes it’s what she’s here to do. Fortunately, life has provided the necessary experience for her to fulfill that purpose in several different ways.
She started her career in the health care industry almost twenty five years ago, working as a nurse in the Top End before making her way to sunny Queensland. More recently, she worked with young adults in the education sector, assisting them to shape a bright future.
She first learned to channel healing energy in 2016 after completing a meditation and energy transfer course through Divine Dharma Meditation where she learned a method of meditation and healing called Universal Human Body Energy (U.H.B.E.). Developed by founder, Grand Master Dasira Nerada, in Sri Lanka in the 1800’s, this method is now taught across several continents and helps hundreds of thousands of people to heal and change their lives.
Since learning this discipline, Jenine’s life has transformed in so many wonderful ways and she was inspired to continue pursuing other healing disciplines. She is now attuned to four additional energy modalities, including Reiki, Ashati, Alsemia, and Ascension after studying with the Ashati Institute—one of the world’s leading providers of energy healing programs.

After watching more than one person she loves dearly struggle with depression and anxiety, Jenine researched different treatment options and found hypnotherapy. Amazed by the possibilities of fast, effective results for a varied range of issues, Jenine had to know how to facilitate these incredible changes for others. She gained her qualifications through the highly reputable Australian Hypnotherapy College, studying with one of the industry’s leaders, Karen Phillip.

The Origins of the Name, Karunamay
Names are significant. So much thought and research went into choosing the name, Karunamay Healing.
It encompasses everything that we stand for.
Translated from Hindi to English, the adjective, karunamay, means, ‘compassionate.’ Compassion is the core ingredient and the motivation behind all healing pursuits, and humanity, is it not?
We know that everything is energy, and energy has a vibrational frequency. In numerology, each letter has a vibration that equates the word, karunamay, to number 6. Many energies are attributed to the number 6, including:
